Corporate & business French
Practical workplace French for Toronto teams serving bilingual clients, federal contracts and Québec operations.
Training we deliver
Client-facing fluency
Service standards, phone and email conventions, handling a complaint in French without losing the account.
Meetings & negotiation
Chairing, interrupting politely, disagreeing professionally, and the register that separates fluent from credible.
Government SLE preparation
Reading, writing and oral interaction at levels B and C for public service roles and bilingual staffing processes.
Business writing
Emails, reports, proposals and the formulaic politeness that French professional writing runs on.
Sector vocabulary
Finance, healthcare, legal, logistics, hospitality and public sector terminology built into the syllabus.
Onboarding cohorts
Bring a new intake to a common baseline before they face bilingual clients.
How an engagement runs
Needs analysis
A conversation with the sponsor plus a short survey: who, what for, and what ‘good’ looks like in twelve weeks.
Baseline testing
Every participant is assessed and grouped. Mixed-level corporate cohorts are the main reason this training usually fails.
Delivery
Weekly sessions, on-site in the GTA or virtual, with materials drawn from your own documents where confidentiality allows.
Reporting
Attendance, progress against CEFR descriptors, and a final report your L&D team can file.
Formats and indicative investment
Every engagement is quoted after the needs analysis. Volume and multi-term agreements are discounted.
| Format | Group size | Cadence | Indicative price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Executive one-to-one | 1 | Weekly 60 min | $95/hr CAD |
| Small team cohort | 3–6 | Weekly 90 min | $260/session CAD |
| Department cohort | 7–12 | Weekly 90 min | $390/session CAD |
| Intensive bootcamp | 4–10 | Full or half days | Quoted |
| SLE preparation | 1–6 | Twice weekly | Quoted |
Indicative figures only — replace with your agreed rate card before launch.
Why corporate language training usually fails
It is almost never the teaching. It is mixed-level groups, lunchtime slots that get cancelled by real work, and a syllabus with no connection to what people actually have to say on Monday.
We fix those three things first, in the contract, before anyone opens a textbook.
- Everyone tested and grouped before week one
- Sessions protected in the calendar with sponsor sign-off
- Materials drawn from your real documents and scenarios
- Attendance and progress reported to L&D every month
