TEF Canada · TCF Canada · DELF · DALF
Preparation aimed at a score, not a vague sense of improvement — for Express Entry points, citizenship, study and federal work.
Which exam do you actually need?
Booking your exam is done through an accredited centre; we prepare you for it and help you choose the date.
TEF Canada
The usual choice for Express Entry and permanent residence. Four sections, results on the NCLC scale. Most points arrive at NCLC 7 and above.
TCF Canada
Accepted for economic immigration and citizenship. Same NCLC mapping as TEF; the question formats and timing differ, and so does the preparation.
DELF (A1–B2)
A lifetime diploma from the French Ministry of Education. Often required for study, some professional registrations and immersion school entry.
DALF (C1–C2)
The advanced diplomas. Required for French university admission and a strong signal in any bilingual hiring process.
Government of Canada SLE
The public service evaluation for reading, writing and oral interaction. Level B and C coaching for federal roles.
Not sure which?
Tell us the outcome you need — PR points, a job, citizenship, a university place — and we will name the exam and the score.
Preparation that is built around the rubric
Language ability and exam performance are two different skills. Plenty of strong speakers lose points to timing, to answering a slightly different question than the one asked, or to a register that reads as too casual for the task.
We teach both: the French, and the exam.
- A diagnostic mock in week one, marked to the official criteria
- Speaking drills against the actual rubric, recorded and reviewed
- Writing tasks returned with band-by-band commentary
- Timed full mocks at the midpoint and the week before
- A score projection you can trust before you pay the exam fee
Exam intensive track
$399 CAD · 8 weeks
- Weekly 90-minute live exam class
- Three full timed mock exams, marked
- Speaking rubric drills with recordings
- Written feedback on every production task
- Score projection and exam-date advice
Private exam intensive: $650 CAD for 10 one-to-one hours

The eight weeks, roughly
Weeks 1–2 · Diagnose
A full marked mock, a gap analysis by skill, and an honest verdict on whether your target date is realistic.
Weeks 3–5 · Close the gaps
Targeted work on the two weakest sections, plus rubric training for speaking and writing.
Weeks 6–7 · Under the clock
Full timed mocks, every task returned with band commentary and a revised score projection.
Week 8 · Exam readiness
Strategy, pacing, and the small habits that quietly cost points on the day.

Exam preparation questions
Can you guarantee I will pass?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. What we do give you is a marked mock in week one and a score projection before you pay the exam fee — so the decision to sit it is an informed one.
How long before my exam should I start?
Eight weeks is the typical intensive. If you are more than one CEFR level below your target, plan on four to six months of general French first, then the intensive.
Do you book the exam for me?
No — you register directly with an accredited test centre. We help you pick a centre and a date that fits your preparation curve.
Is the exam fee included?
No. Test centres charge their own fees, which change periodically. Check the current fee with the centre when you register.
Can I do exam prep one-to-one instead of in a group?
Yes. The private intensive is ten one-to-one hours with the same marked mocks, at $650 CAD.
Do you advise on immigration itself?
We do not. We are language instructors, not immigration consultants or lawyers, and we will always point you to a licensed RCIC or to IRCC directly for anything beyond the language requirement.
